Why do some people oppose Scientology?
----
There are certain characteristics and mental attitudes that cause a percentage of the population to oppose violently any betterment activity or group. This small percentage of the society (roughly 2 percent) cannot tolerate that Scientology is successful at improving conditions around the world. This same 2 percent is opposed to any effective self-betterment activity. The reason they so rabidly oppose Scientology is because it is doing more to help society than any other group. Those who are upset by seeing man get better are small in number compared to the millions who have embraced Scientology and its efforts to create a sane civilization and more freedom for the individual.

I am so extremely pissed at scientology right now, more than usual...THAT IS SUCH CRAP!!! SCIENTOLOGY DOES NOT HELP ANYBODY! THEY THINK THATS WHY PEOPLE HATE SCIENTOLOGY?!? ANYONE THAT HATES SCIENTOLOGY HAS MORALS, SOMETHING SCIENTOLOGY SERIOUSLY LACKS!
----
Morals and Ethics(scientology has none)Scientologists follow The Way to Happiness, which defines morals as "a code of good conduct laid down out of the experience of the race to serve as a uniform yardstick for the conduct of individuals and groups" but warns that "over time, morals can become outmoded, burdensome, and so invite revolt."Scientology states that there is no absolute right or wrong but that right and wrong are actually a gradient from right to wrong. An action must contain construction which outweighs the destruction it contains in order to be considered good. "Good is any action which brings the greatest construction to the greatest number of dynamics while bringing the least destruction. An 'absolute wrongness' would be the extinction of the universe and all energy and the source of energy. . . . An 'absolute right' would be the immortality of the individual himself, his children, his group, mankind and the universe."

OMG this totally takes out the human element of morals, good deeds have nothing to do with construction or desruction. lets say you have a two year old and a teen mother(nothing to do with Jamie Lynn Spears) the teen mother can't handle it, she doesn't know what to do, she's so frustrated to the point where she hates the baby. You know this, you're a friend of the mother, she asks you to babysit. Now, you live in a two story appartment with a balcony, you go out to the balcony to read a book, you notice that the baby strays from your side, the moment of truth, theres a large chance the baby will fall, this will take a lot of stress out of the teen mothers life, perhaps put her entire life back on track again. But the baby will die, though its only two, its brain isn't even fully developed, and it won't feel any pain, when it hits it will die instantly, scientologists would argue that letting the baby drop would be "good conduct" because the "destruction" of the small life does not outweigh the possibilities of the "construction" of the teen mothers old life, though we all know that letting a baby fall to its death is a bad thing, scientologist seem not to think so.

Germany classes Scientology as a business, rather than a religious organization, and has even gone so far as to consider a ban on Scientology. Belgium, France, Ireland, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom have not recognized Scientology as a religion. Scientology has also not been recognized as a religion in Israel or Mexico. A recent judicial investigation in Belgium is now in the process of prosecuting Scientology.
^^^FUCK YEAH!
If anybody has read the Lisa McPherson case they know how evil scientology is and that it is not a religion but in fact a cult. If you haven't read the Lisa McPherson case I don't suggest that you should, you might stumble on to some of the autopsy photos, If you really want to read about the case I strongly recommend NOT looking at the autopsy photos, you have been warned
